New Year's Resolutions: 2018 Edit

It's that time of year again, the time where we set out things we want to do better and things we like to change, in the hope that our next year will be better than the last. My resolutions nicely fit into four categories this year and I've decided to share ones that aren't solely to do with the blog. Christmas Traditions and Things to Do

I'm sure you are already knee deep in festive spirit and wrapping paper at this point in December. But as I only did 12 days of Blogmas I thought I would throw in a little post about the things me and my family do around Christmas time, you could call them traditions.

My Latest MAC Additions (They Were Bargains)

Everyone likes a good MAC purchase, and everyone loves a good bargain. Combine the two and you almost have a beauty bloggers dream. I managed to do just that when I was shopping at Swindon Designer Outlet in the summer. SensatioNail Haul (Completely Not Autumnal Shades)

I am by far one of the most impatient people you'll meet when it comes to painting my nails. I start off with good intentions but by the 2nd coat I'm bored. Honestly, I can't paint my nails nicely with normal polish, it will smudge, even if I set timers and wait hours they always turn out bad. I'm very late on the bandwagon with liquid lipsticks. I still rarely wear them even now because I have horribly dry lips and so far every formula I've tried has made them worse (even when my lips are in tip top condition.) I received and email mid August which sent me back in time, back to starting secondary school. After PE, basically every girl in Year 7 would pull out one of these sprays and the changing room would become a cloud of mixing smells. Anyone Can Blog, But Can We All Be Successful?

It's not often that I'll do a post in response to another, but today is an exception. Recently I read an amazing and eye opening post from Holly over at TheKittyLuxe (who I'm sure you all follow already!) Anyway her post discussed so called 'levelling up' within the blogging industry and how sometimes we can find ourselves floundering and unable to progress. I read the post the day it was published and since then couldn't help but wonder whether there is enough room for all of us - and also what we all class as success.

My First (But Definitely Not Last) Charlotte Tilbury Products

I don't know about you, but I find that some brands just ooze class, maybe it's the packaging or perhaps simply just the product, but there's definitely something that gives them the wow factor. For me one such brand has to be Charlotte Tilbury. Everyone loves her products, the packaging is very blogger friendly and you can't fault the marketing. Up until my birthday I hadn't really had the chance to try anything - sure I had a few of the lipstick pocket type things, but they're no comparison to a proper product.

Results Day: I Actually Got my Top Choice!?

It was results day today, as you could probably tell by the fact the hashtag #alevelresults was trending on Twitter from around 7am. I've never actually bought myself a proper perfume before. Sure I've got a Hollister spray or two, and a perfume I put on my Christmas list, but I'd never purchased one myself. The Products I 'Needed' From Lush

My GlamGlow Collection: Is It Worth The Hype?*

If you haven't seen GlamGlow pop up on blogs, social media or online, I'd be rather surprised. I managed to keep away from the hype for a while but then GlamGlow contacted me over Instagram after seeing that I'd tried a sample of their SuperMud to see if I'd like a tube to try out. Obviously I couldn't turn down that offer and since my collection has grown - but is GlamGlow worth the hype it's given?

It's My Birthday and I'm Finally 18!

The day is finally here, I'm actually 18 and let's be honest I don't feel any different. I've always been one of the young ones, everyone was on holiday for my parties. The only good thing about a summer birthday, is when you're 18 - everyone else is too and you can all go out and get drunk. (Not that I'm actually too into drinking, though I am partial to the occasional mango vodka and lemonade.) And yes, I did spend ages arranging little stars to make a good blog photo!

Hello Gorgeous: It's The Perfect Lush Gift!

As you might know, it's my birthday tomorrow and today I thought I would share with you one of the gifts I received from some old family friends - I know I opened it early but we had a little get together so it seemed rude not to. While you might have seen this set pop up on my wish list, they say they never saw it which makes for a very happy coincidence really!

The MAC Lipstick I Repurchased

It's very rare as a beauty blogger that you will find me repurchasing anything, let alone a lipstick. This is usually because of two reasons: one being that I have so many others and two because I rarely fall in love with a product enough to want another. But obviously there are exceptions, and this MAC lipstick is certainly one of those.

It's my Birthday! Here's my Wishlist!

Well, it's getting towards that time of year again... my birthday! Although this year it's a big one as I'm going to be the grand old age of 18. So I'll be able to go out and drink, and most importantly: I'm able to vote! As you can imagine my lack of vote in the latest election was infuriating. My Makeup Obsession Palette

If you follow me on Instagram you might have seen this palette pop up a couple of times because I do rather like it and it photographs well. The selection of shades are all my own thanks to the fact that this palette allows you to DIY a palette to include only shades you want. I wrote previously in the year about the first three shades I had added to my Makeup Obsession palette and now I've finished it I thought I might as well bring you up to speed.

Should I Go Back To Glossybox?

Now this isn't necessarily a proper review, mainly because if you're eagle eyed you may notice that this is June's Glossybox and it is now July. Instead this post is more around the idea of whether Glossybox is worth the £13.95 a month they are asking.
