There's A Time and a Place for Tinted Lipbalm

Saturday, 17 February 2018
As the title would suggest: there is a time and a place for a tinted lip balm. Be that when you have sore lips but want to make a statement, or whether you're just wanting a splash of colour - tinted lip balms in my opinion are a rather underrated beauty product. My current favourite is the Clinique Balm in Black Honey.

So White Body Spray: Crisp and Refreshing

Saturday, 10 February 2018
If you were ever to ask me what my favourite scent it, you'd find me trying to decide between peaches and apples. For peach scents my first stop is TheBodyShop for their Vineyard Peach, but for apple, Lush takes the crown. Sadly, it's only really at Christmas that Lush seem to bring out the big guns. This year the apple scent featured in Once Upon a Time body lotion and Santa's Belly, I happened to notice that Lush Kitchen were also offering a body spray version of So White, my all time favourite bath bomb, and I quickly added it to my Christmas list.

The Lazy Way To Remove Makeup*

Wednesday, 7 February 2018
Now we all know to steer clear of face wipes. Though I admit that every once in a while I do use a wipe, I am trying to up my skincare game. To help with this I've been incorporating a new makeup removal into my skincare routine: the Magnitone Wipeout Cloths*.

Pixi Glow Tonic: A Holy Grail*

Saturday, 3 February 2018
I'm going to be honest here, but if you put my name on a product I will undoubtedly love it 100x more, which is impressive when the product is already one of my holy grails. This mega size bottle of Pixi's famous Glow Tonic* arrived at my halls a few weeks ago, and I even shifted around my blogging schedule so I could talk to you about this sooner!

5 Things Every Student Must Do in 2018

Wednesday, 31 January 2018
A little bit of a different post today, I hope you don't mind! Monday I started second semester at uni, I've successfully (I hope) completed my first semester, exams and coursework too. It got me thinking though, what do I as a student need to do this year. Obviously all my uni work, but surely I can spend my time more wisely than binging on Netflix 24/7?

My New Bourjois Purchases

Saturday, 27 January 2018
Back when I first started watching YouTube and reading blogs everyone used to rave about the Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation. The only problem at the time was that the shade range was pitiful, (and to be honest still is.) Luckily they recently added a few new shades, one which I hoped would be light enough for me. My purchases were actually spurred on by the free gift offered by Superdrug if I spent £12 - which seemed like a decent deal to me.

Clinique Pep-Start A Product I Thought I'd Hate

Wednesday, 24 January 2018
It's very unusual for me to buy a product without a lot of research beforehand. However, I seem to accumulate sample sizes left, right and centre sometimes - probably because I'm a sucker for a freebie. I often stock up on my Clinique favourites when they offer you 5 free minis and one of the minis I chose last time was the Pep-Start 2in1 Exfoliating Cleanser. 2in1 products are usually a no go for me: cheek and lip stain or shampoo and conditioner in one, so I was sceptical as to whether I'd like this.

Send your Skin for a Detox*

Saturday, 20 January 2018
Christmas is well and truly over, New Year has come and gone, and I've been left with less than perfect skin. I'm not one to shy away from food over the holiday period because, well, I LOVE ALL THE FOOD! I'll be honest my skincare routine over Christmas wasn't as good as it could be as I was rather busy. I'm not too annoyed that my skin is playing up because I take 100% of the responsibility, but I have been trying to put it right with the PeachyFox Dead Sea Mud mask*.

Soap & Glory: Spa of Wonder

Wednesday, 17 January 2018
Boots points are wonderful things. Personally, I save mine up all throughout the year and then splurge them all in one go on one of their star gifts. This year I was drawn to the Soap&Glory Spa of Wonder set which is worth an amazing £78. (I even had enough points to pay for delivery too!) Now I've had a few weeks to try out the products I thought it was time to give you a little update on my favourite bits! It was definitely well worth the splurge, even if I do only have 4p worth of points left now!

Dewy and Natural With RealTechniques

Saturday, 13 January 2018
If you've been keeping up to date with posts, you might have seen my Back to Basics post. In short I explained how I was shaking up my makeup to suit my wintery skin better. Enter my bargain RealTechniques set. (Honestly, if you're in need of new brushes check Superdrug, these were only £7.99 for the set!) It's called the Fresh Faced Favourites set, and that's exactly the look I'm going for at the moment.

Resolution Focus: My Fitness Regime

Wednesday, 10 January 2018
I play hockey up to three times a week, and I want to get fitter so I can get better. As it is no fun to run around for ten minutes before needing a breather. My fitness motivation is definitely sport orientated, I am quite happy with how my body looks, which is a first, and now just want to make myself as a whole fitter.

Back to Basics: My Winter Skin

Saturday, 6 January 2018
If you read my 2018 new year's resolutions you might have read that I have been neglecting my appearance, pretty much since I started university in October time. Now I love my makeup, as you might have guessed by the blog, so I want to get back into wearing it and here is what I'm wearing to do so.

Welcome to January

Wednesday, 3 January 2018
Well we have made it into 2018. Into the new year we go and I thought we would start with a nice old 'Welcome to January' post to get into the swing of posting again!
